SolicitFit
NIH-aligned · CHECK, not WRITE

A year of work.
Returned without review.

5–10% of SBIR/STTR proposals are administratively rejected before peer review — page limits, fonts, margins, missing sections. SolicitFit reads the solicitation and your draft, then flags every reject reason with the exact rule and the fix.

The administrative gate

The reviewers never read it. A formatting slip did the rejecting.

Administrative rejection is final for the cycle. You lose the writing spend and a full year on a $250K–$1.7M award — over a margin that was an eighth of an inch short.

The core loop

From PDF to a verdict you can act on

Three steps. The mechanical checks are deterministic; the semantic checks are cited. Nothing is ever a false 'Pass.'

01

Add the solicitation + your draft

Pick a pre-ingested open solicitation or upload the agency PDF, then drop in your draft proposal. Large multi-hundred-page PDFs upload directly and securely.

02

We extract rules & cross-check

Deterministic parsing owns page count, font, margins and spacing. AI matches your draft against the agency's required sections, eligibility and certifications.

03

Get a cited, line-item report

Every requirement marked Pass / Fail / Needs-review with the exact clause, where your draft violates it, and the fix — plus an overall reject-risk verdict.

The legal moat · NIH NOT-OD-25-132

Every other AI tool writes.
That's now the banned side.

NIH bans applications "substantially developed by AI" and permits AI only for "grammar, formatting, administrative polish." SolicitFit lives squarely on the permitted side — and as agencies follow, "CHECK not WRITE" becomes the only compliant category.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does SolicitFit write my proposal?

No. SolicitFit only checks your human-written draft for administrative compliance — page limits, fonts, margins, required sections, eligibility and certs. It never writes proposal content, which keeps you on the right side of agency AI-use policies (e.g. NIH NOT-OD-25-132).

Which agencies does it cover?

DoD/AFWERX, NIH, NSF, DOE, NASA, DHS and NOAA SBIR/STTR programs, backed by an agency rule library that's maintained per solicitation cycle.

Is it free to try?

Yes. The requirements-matrix tool is free with no login (2 checks/day). A free account includes 1 full compliance scan per month; Pro adds 20 scans and 120 re-checks for $59/month ($590/year).

What does a full compliance scan check?

A deterministic parse of your draft PDF (page count, font size, margins, line spacing) plus a semantic cross-check against the solicitation's requirements — returning a cited, line-item Pass / Fail / Needs-review report showing where you violate each rule and how to fix it.

Is my uploaded draft kept private?

Uploaded drafts go to a private store and are default-deleted after the scan — only the findings report is retained. Don't upload classified, ITAR or CUI material.

Does it guarantee my proposal is accepted?

No — it's an administrative-compliance aid, not legal advice or a guarantee of acceptance. It helps you avoid being rejected without review for mechanical and administrative errors.
