Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SolicitFit (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are using SolicitFit on behalf of an organization, you represent that you may bind that organization.

What SolicitFit is — and is not

SolicitFit is an administrative-compliance checking aid. It audits a human-written draft proposal against a federal SBIR/STTR solicitation and flags potential administrative-rejection risks (page limits, fonts, margins, required sections, eligibility, certifications). We check; we do not write.

SolicitFit is not legal advice, not a substitute for the solicitation itself or your contracting officer, and not a guarantee of acceptance, compliance, or award. Deterministic checks (page count, font, margins, spacing) are parser-measured; semantic checks are AI-assisted and may be marked "Needs review." You are responsible for verifying every finding against the official solicitation before you submit.

Acceptable use

Do not upload classified, ITAR-controlled, CUI, or otherwise export-restricted material. The Service is not authorized for such data.
Only upload content you have the right to submit. You retain ownership of your drafts and proposals.
Do not abuse the free tool, attempt to bypass rate limits or usage caps, or resell the Service.
Do not use the Service to violate any law or any agency's submission rules, including AI-use policies.

Accounts, plans & billing

Free, Pro, and Team plans have monthly usage caps as described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the Customer Portal in your settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not charge success fees.

Availability & changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and may change these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolicitFit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any rejected, delayed, or unsuccessful submission. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
